Manchester United Set Jesse Lingard Asking Price: Should Westham go for Him?

It’s been a great season for Jesse Lingard in West Ham United shirt scoring 6 goals in 8 matches. With West ham willing to buy the United loanee without a buy clause in the deal United are ready to let Jesse Lingard sign a permanent deal with West Ham for £30m.

Jesse Lingard joined West Ham United during the January transfer on loan. The Hammers have since been the only English side with rough 100% improvement and currently seating 4th on the EPL table. Jesse has 10 contributions for Hammers in all competitions with 6 goals and 4 assists. The forward is happy doing this for West Ham United which has earned him international recognition and he’s back in the Gareth Southgate squad for England.

Jesse Lingard to West Ham

Since West Ham United do not have the option to buy during the January negotiation with Manchester United it would be a bit difficult to bit the £30m price for United.

Sky Sports News claimed that the Hammers are ready to add Jesse Lingard to their squad on a permanent deal and are ready to take the bull by the horn to add the Manchester United forward to their squad come next season.

However, this could be a big fish for United to cash in for a player who will freely walk away next season if not sold now. And as it stands, it’s also an opportunity for West Ham United to strengthen their forward since Jesse is at the peak of his career as we speak.

Ole plan for the 28years forward is to return to Manchester and continue his career but his current form has put him in the market. From loanee to a permanent deal. However, should Weest Ham make the right decision and push for the forward permanent deal United would probably sell him.

The former United boss, David Moyes would love to add Jesse to his squad and with the incredible performance in the recent week, Moyes would probably push for Jesse to strengthen his forward and perhaps could push for Champions League next season.

I hope this would be a golden opportunity for Jesse to have more playtime in West Ham short and prove his worth one more time.

Over to you?

Do you think United should let Jesse go? And do you thin Jesse worth the price?
